Meet Megan Urioste, Licensed Legal ParaProfessional
A Steady Legal Hand for Colorado Families
For over 14 years, I’ve worked inside the world of family law. From my start as a paralegal in 2011 to becoming a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) in early 2025, my entire legal career has been driven by one thing: helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered through life’s hardest legal moments.
Born and raised in Castle Rock, I’ve worked with families across Colorado navigating divorce, custody, and support issues. I’ve seen the toll the legal process can take — not just financially, but emotionally. That’s why I became an LLP: to offer reliable legal services that are accessible, affordable, and deeply rooted in compassion.
I’m proud to serve as a solo LLP, providing unbundled legal services to those who may not be able to afford an attorney — but still deserve expert help. I specialize in everything from custody modifications to name and gender marker changes, and I’m also a certified mediator offering sliding-scale rates to reduce conflict and cost.
Outside of work, I’m a mother of two boys and a fierce advocate for every client who walks through my (virtual or physical) door. I believe that legal guidance should never feel cold, rushed, or out of reach. With me, you’ll always have someone in your corner — not just to fill out paperwork, but to walk with you through every step of the process.
Whether you’re going through a separation, modifying a parenting plan, or facing any of the unique challenges family law brings, I’m here to help.
Serving Colorado from Corner to Corner.
Licensed to practice across the state, I help clients through phone consultations, virtual meetings, and secure digital document sharing — because support should meet you where you are.
